Primarypad _ fantastc for group collaboration text construction.
**Weebly**: extremely intuitive site for kids to use to present research (including the ability to upload videos, link sites, add picture, text, etc etc.) Very user-friendly and has the ability for collaborative research as you can group students into groups and have them work together but from their own laptops.
Animoto: This is a site where you can upload some pictures, add the music and present easily. It's quick to learn but there are limitations.EG: you can only use about 8 photos. My daughter used this site to present her "texture around the home" photos for D&T.
Wordle: To create cool looking title pages from your choice of words.(like front page of ning)
Prezi: for those great looking presentations where the words spin around like they are on a record.Example.
Survey Monkey Great for giving (and linking) surveys/quizzes and tests online
**Piclits** great site to get kids inspired about writing poetry. (Thanks Marica) One of my student's example
Xtranormal I love this site. It's fun. Here is my example. Students type in a discussion, choose camera angles etc (in pairs?) and then listen.
**Pikistrips**. Comic strips. (Thanks Hunter) Have only had a quick look at this...looks good...when time allows.
DigitalStoryteller (or you could learn Adobe Premiere)
**Glogster**
